My costumes
So I’ve been spending the majority of my free time working on sewing projects lately. I completed the two ankle length skirts I was making for everyday wear and also my first EGL dress (EGL=Elegant Gothic Lolita to those unfamiliar with such). The digicam battery has finally died permanently (it had been holding a charge long enough to snap a handful of pics) so I can’t take pics...

I went to Atlantic Canada’s largest flea market in Sussex, New Brunswick yesterday and got a sun burn and this: For 25 bucks. According to this site it’s a 1911 model. It works great apart from a few sticking keys. Now to find some ribbon for it.

I seem to have unintentionally started a typewriter collection. I was given an Underwood Portable Typewriter in near perfect condition yesterday.
More cool stuff. I picked up this Egyptian painting on papyrus at an estate auction the other day. It’s actually in better condition than this picture makes it look. Here’s an image I found of it online.
